Individual Session: $140. for each individual session of 50-60 minutes.
Phone Sessions and Walk and Talk Sessions: All individual sessions are provided either by phone or by walk and talk therapy.
Why phone sessions?
as Covid restrictions are easing up, you may not be ready yet for face to face in an enclosed space.
you may be tired of zoom meetings and just want to talk without the visuals.
my current clients shifted from the office to telehealth, and expressed a preference for phone sessions.
I prefer phone sessions, since they are free of the distraction of trying to make eye contact while having to look into the camera.
it is easier on the eyes than video sessions.
Why Walk and Talk Sessions?
as Covid restrictions are easing up, you may not be ready yet for face to face in an enclosed space.
you may be tired of zoom meetings.
you may be tired of sitting down, especially if your work is sedentary.
you may have heard that walking is helpful for anxiety and depression, but have not started walking on your own.
walking and talking often makes it easier to talk about your issues and to be open to fresh perspectives and possible solutions.
getting outdoors in nature is very healing and refreshing.
we will walk in a setting you feel comfortable with, such as waterside or green spaces, or a combination of both.
Stress Reduction Single Consult: This may be right for you if you want another perspective on your situation, or to learn some basic Stress Relief strategies, without committing to weekly therapy.
Free 15 Minute Initial Phone Consult: I offer a free fifteen minute phone consult, so we can each decide whether we might be a good fit for working together. You can schedule this by calling me, or by leaving a short text stating you want to schedule a free fifteen minute phone consult.
Affordable Therapy for Anxiety: Many people do not require weekly sessions, once the crisis that brought them in has stabilized. Often people switch to every two weeks, for ongoing support and continued development of skills. This results in also keeping the cost of therapy lower.
Payment Methods: Most credit cards, debit cards and HSA (Health Savings Account) cards are accepted.
All payments are contact free, and made on a secure platform through Ivy Pay. After the first session, you will receive a text from Ivy Pay, inviting you to provide your payment information and to authorize me to bill for ongoing sessions. Then each time we have a session I will initiate the charge to your account, and Ivy Pay will text you to inform you. Your payment information is kept secure. I will never see you credit card number.
About Insurance: Most PPO insurance carriers will partially reimburse you for out of network care. If you decide to use your PPO insurance, I will be happy to provide you with a Superbill. You would pay my fee, and then present the Superbill to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
If you use your insurance, I will be required to provide your insurance company with your mental health diagnosis. The number of sessions may be limited by your insurance plan. Your diagnosis and related documentation become part of your permanent health record.
Many people prefer to pay out of pocket for counseling services, to protect their privacy and their right to choose.
